Roll Overview:
I am looking for a Software Developer with strong programming skills in a server environment. This is an urgent requirement with a AAA studio and therefore excellent salaries and relocation on offer. I also have a similar position for a London based studio on a high profile project.

We’re looking for a motivated and self-reliant Software Developer with a keen interest in online gaming. The ideal candidate craves hard problems such as synchronization of data in the context of an MMO. He or she is eager to tackle complex tasks such as modeling and extrapolation of game data or distributed artificial intelligence engines, but can rely on a good technical background to enable it to deliver concrete results.

Experience:-

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent;
•A minimum of two 4 years of experience in software development;
•Experience in computer network programming.

Qualifications:-

•Strong programming skills in a development server environment, such as Java J2EE, Python, PHP;
•Very good experience with Linux operating system (with software LAMP);
•Experience in testing, analysis of performances and scalability of complex network systems;
•Design simple solutions, be practical to achieve its objectives;
•Work with a quality department (for example: the process of delivery and management of bugs);
•Work with agile processes (for example: SCRUM, XP).

Assets:

•Keen interest about multiplayer video games and online gaming (MMO);
•Experience in client-server synchronization of MMO games;
•Experience with SmartFox or other multiplayer platform servers;
•Knowledge in design and database development with MySQL or other SGBD;
•Familiarity with the development driven by tests;
•Familiarity with the system management configuration (for example: Subversion, Perforce).

Other-

•Good oral and written communication skills.
