Roll Overview:
941SD China: Senior Designer :£great + Full Relocation

• Design major game features and systems of target audiences and within given technical or artistic constraints, including adjusting and adapting design if necessary.
• Refine game mechanics and or play mechanics while working collaboratively with design team, programming team and art team.
• Has an understanding of various game constructions aspects, such as use of tools, scripting, event implementation, etc.
• Create and maintain game design documentation, technical specs, and presentations.
• Able to respond constructively and promptly to information requests, feedback, analysis, and critiques of game systems.
• Demonstrates a high level of creativity and innovation in computer and video game design.
• Keeps members of the development team in communication loop as design evolve and are finalized.
• Works with development team to ensure timely design buy-in.
• Mentors and helps to grow junior designers.
Requirements:
• 3+ years experience in the games industry. Shipped at least 2 titles in a designer/senior designer role, from concept through final.
• Experience designing and tuning game systems for game.
• Clear and concise writing ability.
• Capable of making key design decisions and balance tradeoffs, without sacrificing the established vision and quality standards.
• Excellent MS Word, Excel, and Project Skills.
• Must be flexible with the ability to multi-task and to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Mandarin language abilities are a plus, but not required
