Roll Overview:
Art Director - Flash Web games
We are looking for a talented and experienced Art Director to join us in developing our new line of Flash games. Duties will include defining and following up on the visual and artistic direction of the games in addition to leading a small team of artists. Close collaboration with producer, designers, programmers and artists are an integral part of the position. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in visual design and excellent people skills. Passion for playing games is an absolute must.
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of related industry experience
• Minimum 1 shipped product and being part of the period before, under and after release
• Excellent skill in creating concept art
• Excellent skill in producing art assets
• Long standing passion for playing games
• Organized and structured
• Works well in team environment
• Ability to work well with deadlines
• Attention to details
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Additional Advantages
• Good understanding of game trends
• Experience with vector graphics
• Versatile – ability to both create and direct production of concepts, art assets, special effects and GUI
• Experience with developing for Flash
