Roll Overview:

Position Summary
The AD oversees art production, defines problems and provides solutions. Taking an active role in pre-production and planning of the project – from the preparation of design documentation, conceptual drawings, reference material and storyboards to the definition and planning of the scope of work - the incumbent ensures high art quality by driving and implementing creative direction.

Position Responsibilities
- Managing the Art Team
- Giving mood directions for general style, modeling, texture, lighting, etc.
- Troubleshooting and Assisting artists
- Defining art pipelines and Finding solutions for game requirements

Position Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the Games Industry
- At least one shipped AAA Title as Art Director
- Strong traditional Art, Illustration and Concept Art skills
- Strong understanding of Technical Specifications
- Perfect managing skills
- A passion for video games
- Fluency in English

Technical Requirements
- Familiarity with art tools such as 3DSMAX and Photoshop
- A strong background in many facets of video game artwork
- Expertise in modeling and 2D-Art, especially as it relates to movie and video game development
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of cutting edge techniques and tools
- Experience with next-gen consoles
Soft-Skill Requirements
Excellent communication, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
- Ability of being self-critical and giving constructive criticism
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to motivate others and yourself
- Problem solving capabilities
Bonus
- Degree in Traditional Arts (BA or equivalent)
- Unreal Engine 3 development experience
