NETWORK PROGRAMMER - SWEDEN - €55,000
Roll Overview:
Looking for an experienced Network programmer for upcoming projects for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. You will work on a high profile unannounced AAA title with one of the world’s most well-known publishers. Further you will work as a part of a cross functional team together with some of the most talented and experienced individuals in the gaming industry.
You work in a close team environment that besides the technical staff also includes designers, artists and project managers.
Specialist Requirements:
· Excellent network programming skills
· Excellent understanding of performance sensitive programming, both concerning algorithms and low level optimizations
· A background with positions that provided professional network programming experience
· Experience from a similar position within the games industry is highly meriting
· Experience in third party network APIs is meriting
General Requirements:
· Excellent C/C++ skills
· Excellent software design skill
· Strong math skills
· Excellent communication skills
· A keen ear to identify problems and present constructive and creative solutions
· Excellent self motivation and initiative
· Strong documentation skills
· A strong motivation to develop new game technology
· A university degree in computer science or equivalent is meriting
· Experience from a published AAA PC and/or console game is meriting
