3D ENGINE PROGRAMMER - PARIS - €40,000
Roll Overview:
We’re looking for a permanent, full-time 3D Engine Programmer at a salary of 40 000€ max for our Paris Studio. The ideal candidate would speak French natively, but we’re willing to explore English speaking options.
The main points to the role:
- we develop casual MMOs that are embedded in browser, which relatively-speaking are at a high quality (for example, compared to other web products using Flash).
- our engine integrates social content (images, video, audio) into a user generated content system (video capture, heavy data streaming for custom data) so the engine programming would cover a wide range of areas.
- the main areas of work:
- client performance optimisations
- PC hardware features & compatibility
- asset team collaboration to push experience quality
- API development for the content teams (internal) and partners (external).
- the main skills:
- experience in Open GL 1.1 (low end compatibility) to newer versions (high end LOD), and especially GPU programming
- experienced in JVM / Java
- experience with functional programming a bonus (ex: SCALA, CamL, LUA, Python, ...)
- experience with runtime data management and production pipelines, eg. getting data from source assets to convert to runtime data
