Role Overview:

•Responsible for the timely delivery of all titles developed by the franchise (internal and external), in accordance with the quality standards set by the Game Director and Discipline Leads, while continuously improving the work-life balance of the team
•Defining, evangelising and enforcing a best practice production methodology for the franchise

Key Skills/Experience:

Experience
•Successfully shipped at least 2 projects from inception to completion as a producer
•Proven track record of managing 20+ teams
•Outsourcing experience
•PS3 and/or social gaming would be an advantage

Skills
•Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills
•Ability to be part of a team and delegate efficiently
•Project management and organisational skills required
•Flexible approach to facilitate the changing needs of the business
•Ability to promote personal and team motivation to create a united team

Key areas of responsibility:

Game development

•Responsible for the delivery of all titles developed by the franchise, internally, externally or via licensing, to the quality set by the Game Director and the time and cost standards set by the Production Manager
•Resolve time-cost-quality conflicts escalated by Discipline Leads within the franchise
•Supervise post-mortem execution at the end of each title, and ensure approved issues are turned into action points

Project/Team management

•Define a schedule and budget and track the teams progress against it, identify critical paths, key risks, change and slippage and put solutions in place to mitigate them
•Define and enforce production processes as set by the Production Manager to ensure efficiency, focus and strong morale
•Balance production considerations with quality and creativity in decision-making
•Carry out secondary line management responsibilities for the Discipline Leads including personal development, training and appraising
•Coordinate the organisation and scheduling of regular team meetings

Communication

•Point-of-contact for anything relating to the development and delivery of the title
•Maintain effective communication with the entire team, at all levels
•Report to the Production Manager on project development
•Ensure good and constant communication between internal groups e.g. QA

The successful candidate will have a combination of the above skills and a proven track record in dealing with similar responsibilities.
