Roll Overview:
We are looking for experienced, enthusiatic and passionate people to work on the multiplayer component of our next gen title (PS3/Xbox360).

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and extend the development of our current game networking systems on Xbox360 and PS3.
• Work with other programmers to interface with all project subsystems, including character control, AI, and physics.
• Work with external vendors to develop solutions using and/or extending their online service SDKs.
• Define programming policies and guidelines to aid other programmers in creating networking-compatible software.
• Develop and maintain software to aid testing of networked games.
• Continue development of networking system to be compatible with all features of shared game framework, including abstracting online service user interface APIs.
• Co-write technical design and software design documentation

Qualifications:

• Broad understanding of computer and game networking systems, including DNS, NAT, firewall, security methods, peer-to-peer and client server models.
• Experience with game console networking, including Wii, Xbox Live and Sony PS2.
• Experience on Xbox360 and/or PS3.

Skills:

• At least 6 years of programming experience with experience in network programming.
• Advanced programming skills (C++ and possibly other languages).
• Technical problem solving ability.
• Ability to work within a schedule.
• Ability to work well as part of a creative team.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
