The Graphic Designer/Artist - Implementer is responsible for the creation, implementation and maintenance of all in-game menus and HUD artwork.
Requirements
• Ability to create and implement UI elements from an established design.
• Excellent Graphic design skills
• Excellent knowledge of one 2D software
• Knowledge and experience using FLASH
• Understands animation principles
• Good knowledge of 3D software and principles
• Ability to suggest and implement technical solutions to problems arising from UI concepts
• General aptitude for basic scripting and expressions
• Highly organised and self-motivated
• You will be able to demonstrate a good creative background with your portfolio.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work closely with the UI Producer and UI Graphic Artists. They will create and implement the HUD, Front End and any other GUI aspects.
To work with programmers to ensure implementation of work.
They must be able to take responsibility for their own work and handle a large workload from the outset and be able to work to tight deadlines with specific art styles.

Desirable Skills
• Good knowledge of video editing software
• An interest and knowledge of games
• Good knowledge of Games UI


Duration on employment is Fixed Term.
Location is Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: depending on experience.
