HEAD OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
Roll Overview:
Cutting edge, prize winning company which aims to become a leading international developer and marketer of interactive entertainment products which specialise in linking real & digital experiences.
The company is about to secure major investment and wishes to fill the key position of Head of Software Development. The successful applicant’s primary role will be to manage the company’s software team which will develop ‘3D’ computer games for the PC platform which will offer both offline single player and online multiplayer features and experiences.
The successful candidate must have;
• A primary background in coding interactive products for the PC platform
• 3-5 years experience managing teams developing 3D computer games and applications – delivering on time and to budget.
• Ability to manage asset developers such as ‘3D’ modellers and ‘2D’ graphics designers.
The following will also count as an advantage;
• Experience working with a selection of software development kits for the PC platform
• A successful track record in delivering interactive entertainment products for leading international game publishers
• Familiarity with multiple browser based 3D platforms (Shockwave 3D, Unity, others).
