Roll Overview:
Responsibilities:
Manage the programmer team, the R&D team, the IT team, and the technical artist/animator team.
Select, analyze and choose the technologies used in the studio.
Recruit and train new programmers, IT, and technical artists/animators.
Manage priorities, establish priorities.
Effectively produce codes for games.
Promotes and coordinates technical knowledge harvesting within the organization.
Tracks and identifies new opportunities to improve our methodology and training offerings.
Enforces standard policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Degree holder or above, major in computer science or equivalent.
Strong computer science background.
At least five years game engine programming experience.
Extensive knowledge of all areas of game technologies including 3D graphics, animation, collision, physics, 3D sound, game code, AI, network, game production pipeline and tools, etc.
Proficient in C, C++.
At least two years tech-team management experience.
Ability to think and act strategically
Have shipped games on console ( preferred next gen)Excellent management skills.
Excellent oral and written English.
Excellent working attitude, excellent self-learning and problem solving ability.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
A passion for creating and playing games.
