Roll Overview:
Senior Java Programmer - The Casual Game
We are looking for a skilled java programmer to join us in creating a Java/Web based MMO for a younger/casual market. The ideal candidate would have experience with commercial java development as well as some game industry experience.
Main responsibilities:
• Work closely within a small team of programmers in an agile development environment
• Communicate with Artists and Designers to ensure work meets gameplay and aesthetic requirements
• Mentor and instruct new junior programmers
Qualifications:
• Degree in computer science (preferred not required)
• Experienced Java Coder (2+ years experience)
Required skills:
• Excellent English skills, both Oral and written
• The ability to work in closely knit teams
Preferred knowledge and experience:
• Experience in professional java game development
• Experience in Client / Server network programing
• Experience with graphics programming in Java
• Experience working with multi-threaded programming
• Oracle database Integration
• Experience in working with Linux

• to relocate to Oslo, Norway
