Job Title Outsource Producer
Accountable to Production Manager
Summary The Outsource Producer is responsible for the coordination of all assets created off-site. The ideal candidate will have both extensive project management skills as well as up-to-date knowledge of the production pipeline. The Outsource Producer will work closely with the Producer, Art Director and Art Leads, while reporting to the Production Manager.
Requirements • Production support experience on at least 1 to 2 completed projects, in either is an art management capacity or in an outsource management role.
• Candidates should have knowledge of 3D modelling packages and 2D art packages.
• The ability to define outsource requirement based on the scope of the project.
• Experience scheduling and coordinating the delivery of assets so they coincide with project milestones.
• Experience in establishing processes for the delivery of assets via FTP, asset tracking software, etc…
• Experience working with one or more asset tracking software.
Responsibilities • Gather analytics and report findings to internal clients
• Establish and maintain relationships with outsourcing partners.
• Liaise between development studio and worldwide outsourcing talent teams. Initiate and manage relationship
• Drive negotiations and finalize contracts.
• Provide the primary interface between the team and external parties.
• Manage requirements and guidelines.
• Establish and maintain integration & quality assurance process.
• Plan and track project progress regarding outsourcing.
Desirable Skills • Must be able to work with and as part of multiple teams, both internal and external.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills as well as good instructional abilities.
• Good information-handling skills.
• Excellent self-organization and self-motivation abilities.
• Enthusiasm for on-going learning and development.
• Enthusiasm for computer games
