607 PD PROJECT DIRECTOR ARCADE

As a Project Director you will be responsible for the efficient running of one to two game development teams. It will be your responsibility to ensure that the game is completed on time, within budget and to a high quality.
You will oversee the Technical, Art and Design Leads who govern the respective areas of the team.


Additional qualities specific to this role include:
• To deliver the game/s on time, within budget and to a high quality
• Primary point of contact for the publisher
• Create and maintain appropriate project plan/s
• Defining project manpower and equipment requirements
• Generating milestones and specific milestone deliverables for the contract/s
• Establishing the processes through which the game will be developed
• Delegation and prioritisation of tasks
• Monitoring day-to-day running of the project, identifying and solving production problems
• Ensure a realistic game scope
• Oversee the Technical, Art and Design Leads for the project/s
• Report effectively to Senior Management
• Running team meetings and ensuring good communication
• Primary representative in management meetings
• Coordinating internal/external recruitment for team vacancies in conjunction with the recruitment department
• Review/appraise staff and deal with general performance management of the team
• Delivery of milestones
• Fully understand and fulfill the terms and conditions of the relevant contracts for the games
• Liase with Marketing Manager and the publisher's PR & marketing operations to provide necessary materials

Directly reporting to:
• Development Director and Arcade Director (whilst working on "live" projects with monthly milestones)
• Arcade Director (whilst in between "live" projects and assisting with pitches)

Levels of Authority:
• Entertainment of selected contractors when necessary up to current expensive limits
• Entertainment of publishers as necessary up to the current expensive limits
