777SP: LONDON: SENIOR PRODUCER: £46K + BONUS + 25 DAYS HOLIDAY + MEDICAL + LIFE
You will be working on a external and internal basis and overseeing a variety of projects. You will be the director’s right hand man.
Well established developer and publisher require an experienced external producer for exciting titles. It will be working on: Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, PS2, DS, and PC. Responsible for the design, planning and tracking of a key title. This will require high-levels of creativity and project management to succeed.
• The driving force behind one key title. The keeper of the vision for this title.
• Work with the development team to create the project development plans and budgets.
• Track and control the project development plan, schedules and budgets.
• Negotiate contracts with developers, outsourcers and service providers.
• Identify risk areas, resource deficiencies and requirements of the projects.
• Prepare concept submission documents for platform holders, such as Sony and Microsoft.
• Assist the development team with design documentation and tuning gameplay.
• Assist the QA Manager with code submissions.
• Oversee the localisation of titles.
• Manage external resources including art outsourcing, video editing, audio recording and audio editing.
• Gather and select marketing materials from the development team.
• Assist the QA manager and QA leads in the development of test plans.
• Assist in the assessment of new products.
Travel to visit developer (anywhere in Europe).
• Must be educated to at least A-level standard.
• Relevant Degree is desirable.
MBA would be considered very desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years industry experience in a relevant development role.
• Must have considerable experience of working within a development team, preferably at the producer level.
• Presentation of game concepts to the board.
• Team player – evidence of working in a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Keen gamer!
In-depth knowledge of at least one of the following programming, art, design or QA.
