Development Director
Required to join the team the rising star of music and party game development, based in Brighton.
Reporting to the Studio Head, the Development Director will be a key member of the senior management team and will share responsibility for 5+ projects and management of 100+ staff.
Working with Executive Producers and other senior management to fulfill our studio strategy, they will also be responsible for:
developing and implementing studio wide production process
supporting Executive Producers
deployment of staff, within the studio and with outsource partners
sign-off responsibility of key project milestones
liaison with clients.
Skills (Essential)
excellent communication, both verbal and written
autonomous / high initiative work style
effective management style
excellent organisation and time management
excellent project management skills
some specific knowledge of games development
Skills (Desirable)
experience with Agile development methodologies, particularly SCRUM
experience developing project management policy within a development company
recruitment and staff development skills
financial management skills
some specific knowledge of games development
passion for casual videogame market
Were looking for a proven successful manager, ideally from the videogame industry but otherwise from comparable creative/software industries, able to use their own initiative and insight to develop policies; and their management and communication skills to see those polices through to effective implementation. A driven, conscientious and quality-sensitive individual to join a senior management team looking to innovate.
Salary - £35k to £50k (role adaptable to experience of candidate). Other benefits include membership of senior management bonus scheme.
