My client requires an experienced QA Technician to join the team.
The function of the role is to:
Work as part of the internal QA team testing products on all home console platforms;
Maintain and update the bug database;
Work closely with the development team in identifying, resolving and verifying issues;
Keep up to date with the latest standards of console manufacturers;
Build versions of the game for testing;
Be involved with projects from concept through completion.
To apply you will:
Have a minimum of 1 years QA experience within the games industry;
Have an understanding of console manufacturers standards;
Have strong written and verbal communication skills;
Have good analytical skills and an eye for detail;
Be methodical, thorough and organised;
Have a good understanding of the development cycle and games industry as a whole;
It will be an advantage if you can demonstrate:
Strong knowledge of Nintendo (Wii and DS) lotcheck procedures and requirements;
Experience of writing test plans/scripts.
A wider knowledge of testing methodologies.
