This is a great artistic job for a creative Lead Animator to work on fun console titles.
These chaps are looking for an experienced Animator to lead the animation work on a forthcoming Wii title and to assist in the conceptualisation of other projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically-minded Animator who can bring their experience to the team and establish the entire animation pipeline for our new and future projects.
Working on a new IP project in a compact team will give you the opportunity to make a real impact on the finished game. The successful candidate will have a hands-on role overseeing the animation for the entire project from prototype to final game, working alongside the existing art team to give a coherent art style.
Required experience and skills:
• Minimum 5 years industry experience;
• Experience of team management, including excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities;
• Demonstrate strong artistic flare, with excellent 2D and 3D skills;
• Demonstrate modelling, rigging and animation of humans and animals, with an sound understanding of anatomy;
• Demonstrate animation of non-organic assets such as machinery;
• Experience of setting up in-game animations as well as intro/cut scene sequences;
• Excellent knowledge of Photoshop and Maya/Max;
• Any knowledge of particle effects and special effects a distinct advantage;
• Experience of dealing with outsource and freelance developers would be an advantage;
• Experience of working on non-photorealistic title would be an advantage and suit our immediate needs.
