The UK’s number 2 independent developer is looking for some skilled games artists to work on the more family orientated side of games (for those of you sick of shooters).
Exceptional graduates may be considered but games experience is infinitely preferred.
Expectations:
• Complete all designated work to the highest possible standard.
• Maintain a consistent art style under the direction of the Art Manager.
• Ensuring that work is filed correctly using in house asset management tools.
Essential Qualities:
• Good natural artistic ability and flair.
• To work accurately to concept material, identifying the correct approach for the given task.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other artists, designers and programmers.
• A strong eye for detail and a good understanding of colour theory, lighting and composition.
• Proactive attitude towards constantly improving skills and knowledge, as well as sharing this with other members of the team.
Beneficial Qualities:
• Knowledge and experience in game asset creation and the limitations involved.
• Strong traditional art skills.
• Technical skills such as scripting and shader creation.
